THE SKY MAY FALL!
Since I have written my last article on intensive condition of law & order in Pakistan, almost on every weekend I made my mind to write something else on this country. Mostly if I want to write any article, I don’t make any draft or outlines of the topic, instead I just start my laptop, and start typing my realistic observations. My fingers type away while collecting thoughts from different sources of inclination. Now, for the previous number of weeks, whenever I started my computer to write some article about Pakistan’s current condition or updates on the most recent major events that take place. I constantly had a hard time to find the suitable topic which perfectly fits in though. By that means it sounds like there is no serious topic to write down, but really, there are lots of hot topics and each one is very critical. Whenever I started to type, it was very difficult for me to select an appropriate topic i.e. load shedding, unemployment, terrorism, financial crises, IMF influence, American full control by all means, damaging sovereignty, and last but not least, the miserable law & order situation, (as the continuation of the chief justice who is trying his best to flatter those politicians who have reinstated him on that job again), because ALL of these topics are important. Numerous people are writing everyday on these topics and expressing their frustration to overcome these issues but the result is no progress whatsoever.
When I heard about the incident that happened on August 12 at Minar-e-Pakistan, Lahore, I was totally shocked, and I had no other option but to analyze the reason of this incident. I heard that one young man, about thirty years old, was holding a Pakistani flag with him, and went on top of Minar and jumped while committing suicide. The people who were watching that scene, said that he was waving the Pakistan flag in his hands and yelling something like, ‘Long live Pakistan’, (if you expect this slogan from a desperate person who was going to die). Later, it came to know that he was a poor, jobless person who could not manage to live in this liberated country and he chose to sacrifice his life close to Independence Day. He might have thought that his sacrificial will wake the conscience of these conscienceless politicians. Wrong.
This is not the first incident where a desperate person jumped from this national tower. There were hundreds of person who chose this tower to end their lives, because they did their last try to curse these black sheep of Pakistan. But history tells us that their sacrifice went in vain, these malicious politicians are continuing looting this county by their both hands, feet and teeth. Whatever the critical situation in the county is, they don’t care. Their greediness starts from their personal interest and ends with their shameful ambitions.
The current situation in the country is a very clear picture of this scenario. Since both gang leaders, Nawaz Sharif and Asif Zardari came into power, they are busy in doing monkey business.
Although it’s been more than one & half years since the Sharif brothers came back to Pakistan and got share in establishing a democratic government, if you check their statements during this period of time, you will be surprised to see that there was not a single day when they did not show their grudge against Pervaiz Musharaf. Their day started not with name of Allah, instead, talking against Musharaf, stating his ‘faults’ , his ‘mistakes’, and everything else that he did during his ruling period . The same situation is with their evening and nights too, even their close friends disclose that they whisper of Musharaf in their dreams.
Everybody knows that they escaped from Pakistan to save their lives, that they committed a number of crimes and eventually caught. But then the Saudi leaders helped them get out of this country. Now, they can move free everywhere in Pakistan, but the long time they spent in exile is still a nightmare for them. That’s why the goal, motto and manifesto of their life is only to take revenge from Pervaiz Musharf. With them is a group of cunning people who will do anything for that act. They don’t care about Pakistan.
If we love our country then we should pray for the destruction of these people, otherwise… the sky WILL fall. And WE will be the ones who will be crushed from the weight of it.
